At Royada International Jewelry, we respect the privacy and confidentiality of our customers’ personal data. We are committed to implementing policies, practices, and processes to comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (No. 12 of 2012) (PDPA).
This Privacy Policy sets out the basis upon which we will collect, store and process personal data that we collect from you.
As used in this Privacy Policy:
“Personal data” means data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified:
(a) from that data
(b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
Depending upon the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data that we may collect from you includes your name and identification information such as your NRIC number or passport details, contact information such as your address, email address or telephone number, nationality, gender, date of birth, marital status, photographs and other audio-visual information, employment information and financial information such as credit card numbers, debit card numbers or bank account information, source of funds.
Other terms used in this privacy policy shall have the meanings given to them in the PDPA (where the context so permits).
1. YOUR CONSENT
a) By using the Royada International Jewelry website, you agree and consent to the collection, storage, and usage of any personal data provided to us in the manner outlined in this privacy policy. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on this page so that you always remain informed of our current policies.
b) You are deemed to have consented to the collection, use, or disclosure of your data if –
(i) you voluntarily provide the personal data to us for that purpose; and
(ii) it is reasonable that you would voluntarily provide the data
c) Under the PDPA, we do not need to seek consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data, where:
(i) It is clearly in your interests and provided consent for its use cannot be obtained on time, or you would not reasonably be expected to withhold consent.
(ii) It is in response to an emergency that threatens your life, health, or safety or that of another individual.
(iii) Personal data is publicly available.
(iv) It is in the national interest.
(v) It is solely for artistic or literary purposes.
(vi) It is solely for archival or historical purposes if a reasonable person would not consider the personal data to be too sensitive to the individual to be collected, used, or disclosed (as the case may be) at the proposed time.
2. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
a) To provide goods and services to you and also to comply with the laws applicable to us including those for the prevention of money laundering and the countering of any terrorism financing, it may be necessary for Royada International Jewelry to ask for your personal data such as your name, company details, address, e-mail address, telephone number, identification number, passport details, source of funds, including those of persons to whom a gift has been purchased for and will be shipped to. Generally, we may use this information to respond to your requests, or to contact you via mail, e-mail or phone to inform you of new products, services, or promotions we may offer, and where required under the laws that we are bound, to seek further information.
b) If applicable law requires, we may also request further information from you when you enter one of our contests, take advantage of our promotions of special offers, or wish to use our services such as subscribing to our mailing list or updating our records.
3. PURPOSE AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We may collect and use your data for any one or all the following purposes:
a) performing obligations during or in connection with our provision of the goods and/or services requested by you.
b) verifying your identity.
c) responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback from you.
d) managing your relationship with us.

f) sending marketing information about our goods or services including notifying you of marketing events organized or initiated by us, marketing-related initiatives and promotions, lucky draws, membership, bonus and rewards schemes, and other promotions.
g) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or assisting in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority.
h) any other purposes for which you have provided the information.

The purposes listed above may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us (for example, under a contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).
4. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
a) We may disclose your data where:
(i) such disclosure is required for performing obligations during or in connection with our provision of the goods or services requested by you
(ii) to third-party service providers, agents, and other organizations we have engaged to perform any of the functions listed in clause four above for us.
b) Royada International Jewelry may also allow access to certain personal data by third parties who provide technical services, but only to the extent that access to such information will allow the third parties concerned to provide you with such services. In these instances, we will ensure that the third parties concerned are bound by the same restrictions as to the use of information.
5. WITHDRAWING YOUR CONSENT
a) Your consent for the collection, use, and disclosure by Royada International Jewelry of your personal data will remain in force and valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. Should you wish to withdraw your consent for any or all the purposes listed above, please submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below.
b) Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, please allow us a reasonable time to process your request. We may notify you that acceding to your request may result in certain consequences, including any benefits, ongoing loyalty programs, bonus points, or legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, and subject to paragraph 6(c) below, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
c) Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be able to continue providing our goods and services to you.
d) Please note that withdrawing your consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use, and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
6. ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
If you wish to make:
(a) a request for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about how we use or disclose your personal data, or
(b) a correction request to correct or update any of your personal data, you may submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below in 9(b).
Please note that a reasonable fee may be charged for an access request.
c) We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible.
7. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
a) To safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical, and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption, and the use of privacy filters to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorized third-party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis.
b) You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.
8. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
a) We may retain your data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
b) We will cease to retain your data or remove how the data can be associated with you as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

a) Royada International Jewelry has designated one or more Individuals to ensure that it complies with the PDPA and to make Royada International Jewelry accessible to answer questions on behalf of Royada International Jewelry relating to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data.
